The teachers will be presented a framework for teaching personal finance. This includes a discussion of the current standards and how the content in the course aligns with them. There will be an exploration of exceptional resources for Fin Lit activities, lessons, and simulations. A large portion of the presentation will be dedicated to sharing slide decks on specific content areas and modeling student-centered activities that reinforce comprehension.

Highlights Include: The Economic Way of Thinking and Decision Making, Budgeting With Roommates, The Three C’s of Credit and Creditworthiness, Tracking the Stock Market and the Rewards for Patience, and Types of Auto Insurance.
